A collection of film photography taken by Jono Verrall, a friend of Daniel’s responsible for melanchole’s original artwork. These intimate pictures were captured in the years between 2012 and 2019, and served as direct inspiration during melanchole’s production. Verrall’s photos highlight the small moments of his friends, surroundings, and the sweeping landscapes of Aotearoa’s South Island.

We were mostly just trying to keep ourselves from boredom in a small town with barely anything to do.
